We brought him home at about 3:30 this afternoon in the pouring rain. These pictures were taken shortly thereafter (in the new laundry room!). He's mostly been hiding behind stuff (washing machine, end table) or under stuff (beds, computer desk) and meowing plaintively, which is to be expected when every emergence is rewarded with a 2 year old's squeals.
Now that she's in bed, he's getting more brave. He jumped up on the couch and kneaded me. When Emily sits on the floor, he walks around her, rubbing his head against her. She was a bit impatient this afternoon, saying, (read with whine) "Mo-om, Little Mittens won't come ou-ut," so now she's pretty excited.
Emily's taking pictures of him now. I'll upload more in the morning.
