Who am I?

A calm, domestic almost-goddess, who lovingly and sustainably removes the extra meat from her roast chicken, to make a marvelous chicken salad (thanks for the recipe, Sis!) to feed herself and hubby economical lunches for the week?

or . . .

A crazy hormonal* carnivore who is sucking every delicious bit of chicken flesh from the carcass even though she's just had dinner and is seriously already full?

*And no, Mom, and anybody else, "hormonal" is not code for pregnant, just female.

oMG --- aren't you a lovely carnivore!

There's nothing like a roast chicken to feed you through the week -- and then, if you're like my mom, she would insist on making chicken broth!

I, on the other hand, have a turkey carcass from 2005 in the freezer that was given to me by my mother-in-law in order that I make Turkey soup -- so, how's that working for me?

I am too grossed out by all the skin and bones to ever make anything useful out of a carcass. Bad green girl, I know.
